Now that we have goats, we needed hay. While they shouldn’t need much until winter, now is the time to buy as hay is being made currently, and is at its cheapest price. We found an ad for hay nearby on Craigslist, and went to buy a load.

We decided to store it under cover in the tractor area as it will be protected from rain there, but will have plenty of ventilation.

We stacked the bales on pallets, which should keep the bottom layer of bales from getting ruined by moisture.
