Excited Chickens
This morning before work we tended to our chicks. As you can see they have grown very quickly! They are feathering out and excited for any opportunity to roost, jumping up on the ledge of the brooder box every time we open it.
Our dog Whiskey is handling the chicks very well. She is showing that she is a good farm dog by being protective of the chicks but uninterested in them otherwise.
It is almost time for the chicks to move into the larger brooder box, and then to the outdoors!
